Mixed Nut Delight: No-Bake Dessert Clusters
Ingredients
- 1 cup roasted pecans
- 1 cup chopped almonds
- 1 cup walnut pieces
- 1/2 cup mixed tree nuts (such as hazelnuts, cashews, or brazil nuts)
- 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
1. Prepare the Nuts:
- Place the roasted pecans, chopped almonds, walnut pieces, and mixed tree nuts in a large mixing bowl. Toss them together until well mixed.
2. Melt the Chocolate:
- In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the semisweet chocolate chips and honey. Microwave on medium power for 1 minute. Stir the chocolate and continue microwaving in 30-second intervals, stirring after each, until completely melted and smooth.
3. Combine Ingredients:
- Add the sea salt and vanilla extract to the melted chocolate mixture and stir until well combined.
4. Mix the Nuts and Chocolate:
- Pour the chocolate mixture over the mixed nuts. Use a spatula to thoroughly combine the nuts with the chocolate, ensuring each piece is coated evenly.
5. Shape the Clusters:
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Use a spoon to drop spoonfuls of the nut and chocolate mixture onto the parchment, forming small clusters.
6. Set the Clusters:
- Allow the clusters to set at room temperature for about 30 minutes, or until the chocolate is firm and the clusters hold their shape. For quicker setting, place the baking sheet in the refrigerator for 15 minutes.
7. Serve:
- Once set, transfer the clusters to a serving platter. Enjoy as a decadent, nutty dessert treat.
