Mouthwatering Breakfast Casserole with Swiss Cheese and Tangy Sauerkraut



Ingredients



- 8 oz. shaved ham
- 6 large eggs, scrambled
- 4 oz. Swiss cheese, shredded
- 1/4 cup green onions, finely chopped
- 1/2 cup buffalo chicken dip
- 4 oz. cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1/2 cup celery, diced
- 6 slices crisp bacon, crumbled
- 1/4 cup pickled jalapeños, sliced
- 2 tbsp hot honey
- 1/2 cup ranch-spiked sour cream
- 2 tbsp fresh chives, chopped
- 1 cup shredded cheese (your choice)
- 8 oz. turkey, thinly sliced
- 1/4 cup bacon bits
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup Roma tomatoes, diced
- 4 oz. fresh mozzarella, sliced
- 1/4 cup fresh basil, torn
- 2 tbsp balsamic glaze
- 8 oz. pastrami, thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup sauerkraut, drained
- 1/4 cup Thousand Island dressing
- 1 cup shredded chicken
- 1/2 cup salsa verde
- 4 oz. Monterey jack cheese, shredded

Instructions



1. Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

2. Prepare the Baking Dish
Lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish with nonstick spray or butter.

3. Layer Base Ingredients
Spread the sauerkraut evenly as the base layer in the dish.

4. Add the Protein
Evenly distribute the shaved ham, shredded chicken, pastrami, and turkey over the sauerkraut.

5. Sauté Vegetables
In a pan over medium heat, sauté diced celery and green onions until aromatic, about PT5M.

6. Prepare Egg Mixture
Whisk scrambled eggs in a bowl, then mix in the sautéed vegetables, pickled jalapeños, hot honey, ranch-spiked sour cream, and salsa verde.

7. Assemble the Casserole
Pour the egg and vegetable mixture over the layered meats. Arrange fresh mozzarella and fresh basil on top.

8. Add Cheese and Bacon
Sprinkle cheddar cheese, Swiss cheese, Monterey Jack cheese, and shredded cheese over the top. Add crumbled bacon and bacon bits.

Distribute diced Roma tomatoes and drizzle Thousand Island dressing over the top.
