Ingredients
- 4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
Instructions
1. Preheat the Oven:
Preheat your oven to 400°F.
2. Prepare the Baking Dish:
Lightly grease a baking dish with 1 tablespoon of olive oil to prevent sticking.
3. Season the Salmon:
Pat the salmon fillets dry with a paper towel. Place them skin-side down in the prepared baking dish.
4. Make the Herb Crust:
In a small bowl, combine the kosher salt, garlic powder, onion powder, dried oregano, ground black pepper, and smoked paprika. Mix well.
5. Coat the Salmon:
Drizzle 1 tablespoon of olive oil evenly over the salmon fillets.
Sprinkle the herb mixture generously over the salmon, pressing lightly to adhere the seasoning.
6. Bake the Salmon:
Place the baking dish in the preheated oven.
Bake for PT15M (15 minutes) or until the salmon is opaque and flakes easily with a fork.
7. Rest and Serve:
Remove the dish from the oven and let the salmon rest for a few minutes before serving to allow juices to redistribute.
