Oven-Baked Deli Meat and Cheese Wrap Delight
Ingredients
- 4 large slices of deli meats of your choice (turkey, ham, or chicken)
- 4 large pieces of lettuce leaves, washed and dried
- 4 slices of your preferred cheese (cheddar, Swiss, or provolone recommended)
- 2 tablespoons mustard (yellow or Dijon according to preference)
- 2 medium tomatoes, thinly sliced
- 4 large flour tortillas
Instructions
1. Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
2. Prepare Ingredients
Lay out the flour tortillas on a clean work surface. Spread about 1/2 tablespoon of mustard evenly over each tortilla, leaving a 1/2 inch border around the edges.
3. Assemble the Wraps
Place one lettuce leaf over each mustard-spread tortilla. Arrange one slice of cheese on top of the lettuce. Layer a single deli meat slice over the cheese. Evenly distribute tomato slices on top.
4. Roll the Wraps
Carefully roll up each tortilla tightly, tucking in the sides as you go to form wraps.
5. Prepare for Baking
Place the wraps seam side down on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Optionally, insert a toothpick into each wrap to secure it.
6. Bake the Wraps
Transfer the baking sheet to the preheated oven. Bake for about 10 minutes until the cheese is melted and the edges of the tortilla are slightly browned.
7. Serve
Remove the wraps from the oven and let cool for a minute or two before serving. Slice each wrap in half diagonally and enjoy warm.
