Oven-Baked Layered Taco Dip Extravaganza

Ingredients

- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 cups shredded lettuce
- 1 onion, finely diced
- 2 tomatoes, diced
- 1 cup diced bell peppers
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- 1 can (15 oz) black beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 can (15 oz) refried beans
- 1 lb ground beef
- 2 cups shredded rotisserie chicken
- 2 jalapeños, sliced
- 1 cup salsa

Instructions

1. Prepare the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

2. Cook the Ground Beef:
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned and cooked through, about 8-10 minutes.
- Drain any excess fat, then add the taco seasoning and 1/4 cup of water. Let it simmer on low for an additional 5 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside.

3. Layer the Refried Beans:
- In a 9x13 inch baking dish, spread the refried beans evenly on the bottom layer.

4. Create the Creamy Cheese Mixture:
- In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise, and half of the shredded cheddar cheese. Mix well until smooth and creamy.

5. Assemble the Layers:
- Spread the cream cheese mixture over the refried beans in the baking dish.
- Spoon the ground beef over the cheese mixture.
- Next, add the shredded rotisserie chicken as the next layer.
- Evenly distribute the black beans over the chicken layer.
- Sprinkle the diced onions and bell peppers over the beans.

6. Add Toppings:
- Pour the salsa over the top layer of vegetables, spreading it gently.
- Finish by sprinkling the remaining cheddar cheese and topping with sliced jalapeños.

7. Bake the Dish:
- Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

8. Add Fresh Elements:
- Remove from the oven and allow it to cool slightly.
- Add fresh toppings by layering shredded lettuce and diced tomatoes on top.

9. Serve and Enjoy:
- Serve warm with tortilla chips or your favorite dipping bread.
