Oven-Roasted Asian Chicken Salad Delight



Ingredients



- Main Components:
- 4 chicken breasts
- 1/2 head of cabbage, shredded
- 1 cup shredded carrots
- 1 cup mandarin oranges, drained
- 1/2 cup sliced almonds
- 1/4 cup sesame seeds
- 1 cup won ton strips
- 1 cup chow mein noodles

- Dressing:
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup rice vinegar
- 2 tablespoons toasted sesame oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, minced

- Vegetables:
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 cup bean sprouts
- 1 cup snap peas
- 1 cucumber, sliced thin

Instructions



1. Preheat the Oven:
- Set your oven to 375°F (190°C).

2. Prepare the Chicken:
- Place the chicken breasts on a baking sheet. Drizzle with 1 tablespoon of toasted sesame oil and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
- Roast in the preheated oven for about 25 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Once cooked, allow to rest for 5 minutes before slicing thinly.

3. Prepare the Salad Base:
- In a large bowl, combine the shredded cabbage, shredded carrots, sliced bell pepper, bean sprouts, snap peas, and sliced cucumber.
