Oven-Roasted Brussels Sprouts with Maple-Sriracha Glaze
Ingredients
- 1 pound Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup
- 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
- 1 tablespoon sriracha
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1/2 cup vegetable broth
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons balsamic glaze
Instructions
1. Preheat Oven:
Preheat your oven to 400°F (about 204°C).
2. Prepare Brussels Sprouts:
In a large bowl, combine the halved Brussels sprouts with olive oil, salt, and black pepper. Toss until they are evenly coated.
3. Roast Brussels Sprouts:
Spread the Brussels sprouts on a baking sheet in a single layer. Roast in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, stirring halfway through to ensure even cooking.
4. Make Glaze:
While the Brussels sprouts are roasting, prepare the glaze. In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine maple syrup, balsamic vinegar, sriracha, honey, and vegetable broth. Bring to a simmer, stirring occasionally, for about 5 minutes until slightly thickened.
5. Add Lemon Juice:
Remove the glaze from heat and stir in the lemon juice. Set aside.
6. Combine and Serve:
Once Brussels sprouts are done, remove them from the oven and drizzle with the warm maple-sriracha glaze. Toss well to coat. Transfer to a serving platter and drizzle with balsamic glaze before serving.
