Ingredients
- 1 medium head of cauliflower, cut into florets
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
1. Preheat the oven: Set your oven to 400°F. Allow it to fully preheat to ensure even roasting for the cauliflower.
2. Prepare the cauliflower: Remove the leaves and core from the cauliflower. Break it into bite-sized florets for even cooking.
3. Season the florets: Place the cauliflower florets in a large mixing bowl. Drizzle the olive oil over the florets. Sprinkle the salt and black pepper evenly. Toss everything together until each floret is properly coated with oil and seasoning.
4. Arrange on a baking sheet: Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup. Spread the seasoned cauliflower in a single layer, ensuring they aren't overcrowded. This helps in even roasting, giving a nice crispy texture.
5. Roast: Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven on the middle rack. Roast the cauliflower for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through. The florets should turn golden brown with some crispy edges.
