Peach Puff Pastry Delight
Ingredients
- 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
- 3 fresh peaches, peeled and sliced
- 1/4 cup peach preserves
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon water
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar

Instructions
1. Preheat the Oven:
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (204°C).
2. Prepare the Puff Pastry:
- On a lightly floured surface, roll out the puff pastry sheet to remove any creases.
- Cut the pastry into four equal rectangles.
3. Prepare the Peach Filling:
- In a medium-sized bowl, combine the sliced peaches and peach preserves. Mix gently to avoid breaking the fruit.
4. Assemble the Pastries:
- Place each puff pastry rectangle onto a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Spoon a portion of the peach mixture onto one half of each rectangle, leaving a small border around the edges.
5. Seal and Shape:
- Fold the pastry over the filling to create a pocket, pressing down the edges with a fork to seal securely.
6. Prepare Egg Wash:
- In a small bowl, beat the egg with 1 tablespoon of water to make an egg wash.
- Brush the top of each pastry with the egg wash for a golden finish.

8. Make the Glaze:
- While the pastries bake, combine the powdered sugar and vanilla extract in a bowl.
