- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
Instructions
1. Prepare the Mixture:
- In a medium mixing bowl, combine 1 cup creamy peanut butter, 2 cups powdered sugar, and 1/2 cup softened unsalted butter.
- Use an electric mixer on medium speed to blend the ingredients until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
2. Create the Base Layer:
- Line an 8x8-inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving some overhang on the sides for easy removal.
- Press the peanut butter mixture evenly into the bottom of the prepared pan using a spatula or your hands.
3. Melt the Chocolate:
- In a microwave-safe bowl, add 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips.
- Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until the chocolate is fully melted and smooth.
4. Add the Chocolate Layer:
- Pour the melted chocolate over the peanut butter base. Use a spatula to spread it evenly and ensure the top is smooth.
5. Refrigerate:
- Place the pan in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours or until the chocolate is completely set.
