Pecan Delight Pie



Ingredients


- 1 9-inch premade pie crust
- 1 cup pecans, coarsely chopped
- 3 large eggs
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions


1. Prepare the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

2. Prepare the Filling: In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the brown sugar, granulated sugar, and flour until well combined.

3. Combine Wet Ingredients: Add the melted butter, eggs, milk, vanilla extract, and salt to the sugar-flour mixture. Whisk until smooth and homogeneous.

4. Incorporate Pecans: Gently fold in the chopped pecans, ensuring they are evenly distributed throughout the filling.

5. Assemble the Pie: Place the premade pie crust onto a baking sheet for easy handling. Pour the pecan filling into the crust, spreading it evenly with a spatula.

6. Bake: Carefully transfer the baking sheet with the pie into the preheated oven. Bake for about 50 minutes, or until the pie filling is set and the top is golden brown. A knife inserted into the center should come out clean.

7. Cool and Serve: Remove the pie from the oven and allow it to cool at room temperature for at least 2 hours on a wire rack. This will help the filling to further set.
