Quick Microwave Chicken Avocado Wrap
Ingredients
- 2 medium flour tortillas
- 1 cooked chicken breast, shredded or cut into small cubes (about 1 cup)
- 1 ripe avocado, peeled and sliced
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- 1 small tomato, diced
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 tablespoons ranch dressing
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions
1. Prepare the Ingredients:
- Place shredded chicken in a microwave-safe bowl. Season with salt and black pepper.
2. Heat the Chicken:
- Microwave the seasoned chicken on high for approximately 1 minute (PT1M), just until warmed through. Be cautious not to overheat.
3. Assemble the Wrap:
- Lay the tortillas flat on a clean surface.
- Spread 1 tablespoon of ranch dressing evenly over each tortilla.
- Divide the shredded lettuce evenly between the tortillas, followed by the chicken, avocado slices, diced tomatoes, and shredded cheddar cheese.
4. Wrap and Warm:
- Roll each tortilla tightly to enclose the fillings. Tuck in the edges as you roll.
- Place the wraps on a microwave-safe plate and microwave on high for 30 seconds (PT30S) to slightly warm and melt the cheese.
5. Serve:
- Remove from the microwave, slice in half diagonally, and serve immediately for best flavor and texture.
