Refreshing Citrus Mint Iced Coffee Breakfast Brew



Ingredients



- 1 cup ice
- 1 cup sparkling water
- 1 cup brewed coffee, chilled
- 1/4 cup milk or choice of oat milk/coconut milk
- 1 tablespoon vanilla syrup
- 1/2 tablespoon simple syrup
- 1/2 tablespoon honey syrup
- Zest of 1 lemon
- Zest of 1 orange
- Juice of 1/2 lime
- 1/4 cup fresh mint leaves
- 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves
- 1 sprig rosemary
- Frothed milk for topping
- Slices of citrus fruits (lemon, lime, orange) for garnish

Instructions



1. Prepare the Syrup Mix:
In a saucepan, combine the vanilla syrup, simple syrup, and honey syrup over medium-low heat. Stir until well combined and aromatic, about PT5M (5 minutes).

2. Infuse Herbs:
Add fresh mint, basil leaves, and a rosemary sprig to the syrup mixture. Simmer the mixture for an additional PT3M (3 minutes) to infuse the flavors. Remove from heat and let it cool.

3. Assemble the Drink:
Fill a large glass with 1 cup of ice and add 1/4 cup of fresh citrus juice (lemon, lime, and orange combined). Pour in the cooled syrup mixture, strained to remove herbs, and 1 cup of chilled brewed coffee.

4. Add Sparkling Water & Milk:
Top the drink with 1 cup of sparkling water and your choice of 1/4 cup milk, oat milk, or coconut milk. Stir gently to combine.

5. Garnish & Serve:
Garnish with citrus slices and a mint sprig for a pop of color and freshness. Add a frothy topping of frothed milk for a creamy finish.
