Refreshing Fruit Medley with Tangy Glaze



Ingredients



- 2 ripe pears, cored and diced
- 2 crisp apples, cored and diced
- 2 juicy peaches, pitted and sliced
- 2 tablespoons baking soda
- 1 cup of apple cider vinegar
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- A pinch of salt

Instructions



1. Prepare the Fruits:
Begin by thoroughly washing the pears, apples, and peaches. Core and dice the pears and apples into bite-sized pieces. Pit and slice the peaches into wedges. Set the prepared fruits aside.

2. Fruit Soak:
In a large mixing bowl, combine 8 cups of water with 2 tablespoons of baking soda. Stir until dissolved. Add the diced pears, apples, and sliced peaches into the bowl. Allow the fruits to soak for about PT10M (10 minutes). This will cleanse the fruits and add a slight crispness.

3. Create the Tangy Glaze:
In a small saucepan, combine 1 cup of apple cider vinegar, 2 tablespoons of honey, 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon, 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt. Stir to mix the ingredients over medium heat. Allow the mixture to simmer for PT5M (5 minutes) until it slightly thickens.

4. Drain the Fruits:
After soaking, drain the fruits and rinse with cool water. Pat them dry with a paper towel to ensure they are free of excess moisture.

5. Assemble the Medley:
Place the prepared fruits in a serving bowl. Drizzle the warm tangy glaze over the fruits. Gently toss the fruits to ensure they are evenly coated.

6. Chill and Serve:
Refrigerate the fruit medley for at least PT20M (20 minutes) to allow the flavors to meld. Serve chilled for a refreshing snack.
