Refreshing Lime-Agave Margarita



Ingredients



- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 cup lime juice (freshly squeezed)
- 2 tablespoons agave syrup
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 cup tequila
- 2 cups ice cubes

Instructions



1. Prepare the Glasses:
- Begin by rimming the edges of your margarita glasses. Moisten the rim of each glass with a lime wedge. Then dip the rims into a small plate of sugar to coat evenly. Set the glasses aside.

2. Mix the Base:
- In a large pitcher, combine the water, freshly squeezed lime juice, agave syrup, and sugar. Stir vigorously until the sugar is completely dissolved.

3. Add the Tequila:
- Pour the tequila into the lime mixture. Stir well to ensure the ingredients are thoroughly combined.

4. Chill the Mix:
- Add 2 cups of ice cubes to the pitcher. Stir for about 2 minutes to chill the mixture and slightly dilute for optimal flavor.

5. Serve:
- Fill each prepared glass with ice cubes. Pour the chilled margarita mix over the ice, filling each glass almost to the rim.
