Refreshing Paloma
Ingredients
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
- 2 ounces tequila
- 6 ounces sparkling grapefruit soda
- Ice cubes, as needed
Instructions
1. Prepare the Rim:
- Pour the salt onto a small plate.
- Rub a wedge of lime around the rim of your glass to moisten it.
- Dip the rim of the glass into the salt, making sure it's evenly coated.
2. Mix the Drink:
- Fill the prepared glass with ice cubes to your preference level.
- Add 2 ounces of tequila over the ice.
- Pour in 1 tablespoon of fresh lime juice.
- Top off the drink with 6 ounces of sparkling grapefruit soda, pouring slowly to maintain the fizz.
3. Stir and Serve:
- Stir gently to combine all the ingredients.
- Optionally, garnish with a lime wedge or a slice of fresh grapefruit for added flair.
