Sautéed Nut Delight with Ginger Sesame Shrimp and Chocolate Surprise
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup pecans
- 1/2 cup almonds
- 1/2 cup walnuts
- 1 cup Asian Sesame Ginger dressing
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
- 8 frozen shrimp, thawed and peeled
- 4 Chocolate Ding Dongs, cut into quarters
Instructions
1. Prepare the Nuts:
In a large skillet over medium heat, add pecans, almonds, and walnuts. Sauté the nuts for about PT8M (8 minutes) until they are golden brown and fragrant, stirring frequently to avoid burning. Transfer the nuts to a bowl and set aside.
2. Sauté the Shrimp:
In the same skillet, add the thawed shrimp and 1/2 cup of the Asian Sesame Ginger dressing. Sauté for approximately PT5M (5 minutes) until the shrimp are pink and cooked through. Remove shrimp from the skillet and set aside.
3. Combine Ingredients:
Add the remaining 1/2 cup of Asian Sesame Ginger dressing, 1 tablespoon of soy sauce, and 1 tablespoon of sesame seeds to the skillet. Heat for PT2M (2 minutes) until the sauce is warmed through.
4. Mix Everything Together:
Return the sautéed nuts and shrimp to the skillet, tossing them in the sauce for another PT3M (3 minutes) until all the flavors meld together.
5. Plating:
Arrange the Chocolate Ding Dong quarters on a serving plate. Spoon the sautéed nut and shrimp mixture over the chocolate pieces, allowing the warmth of the ingredients to slightly melt the chocolate for a delightful surprise.
