Savory Asian Fusion Noodle Stir-Fry
Ingredients
- 4 ounces rice noodles
- 4 ounces egg noodles
- 4 ounces spaghetti
- 1 cup vegetable broth
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 tablespoon chili crisp
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 5 green onions, chopped
Instructions
1. Prepare the Noodles:
- Place rice noodles, egg noodles, and spaghetti into separate bowls.
- Pour boiling water over each type of noodle until completely submerged. Let them sit for about 5 minutes or until al dente.
- Drain and rinse under cold water. Set aside.
2. Make the Sauce:
- In a small bowl, combine oyster sauce, soy sauce, honey, and chili crisp. Set the sauce aside for later use.
3. Saute the Aromatics:
- In a large skillet over medium heat, melt 1 tablespoon of unsalted butter.
- Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
4. Cook the Noodles:
- Add the drained rice noodles, egg noodles, and spaghetti to the skillet.
- Pour in the vegetable broth and chicken broth. Toss the noodles gently to soak up the broth flavors.
5. Add the Sauce:
- Pour the prepared sauce over the noodles, stirring well to coat evenly.
- Add another tablespoon of butter, continuing to toss until the noodles are glossy and the sauce is fully absorbed.
6. Finish and Garnish:
- Add the chopped green onions, reserving a few for garnish.
- Cook for another 2-3 minutes, allowing all flavors to meld together.
- Remove from heat and sprinkle the remaining green onions on top.
