Savory Breakfast Sausage and Hash Brown Casserole
Ingredients
- 1 pound breakfast sausage
- 1 red bell pepper, diced
- 4 green onions, sliced
- 8 large eggs
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 tablespoon hot sauce (adjust to taste)
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard

- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 4 cups frozen hash browns, thawed

Instructions
1. Preheat the Oven:
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
2. Prepare the Baking Dish:
- Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish with butter or cooking spray to prevent sticking.
3. Cook the Sausage and Vegetables:
- In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the breakfast sausage until browned and fully cooked, approximately 8 minutes.
- Add the diced red bell pepper to the skillet and cook for an additional 3 minutes until softened.
