Savory Crock Pot Turkey and Mushroom Pasta



Ingredients



Main Ingredients:
- 1.5 lbs turkey breast, cubed
- 8 oz uncooked pasta (any variety)

Vegetables:
- 1 cup sliced fresh mushrooms
- 1 cup chopped carrots
- 1 cup chopped celery
- 1 cup chopped onions

Liquids:
- 2 cups vegetable or chicken broth
- 1 cup prepared gravy

Cheese:
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)

Spices:
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions



1. Prepare the Turkey and Vegetables:
Slice the carrots, celery, onions, and mushrooms. Cube the turkey breast into 1-inch pieces.

2. Layer Ingredients in Crock Pot:
Place the cubed turkey at the bottom of your crock pot. Layer the sliced vegetables (carrots, celery, onions, and mushrooms) evenly over the turkey.

3. Add Pasta and Combine Broth:
Add the uncooked pasta on top of the vegetables. In a mixing bowl, combine the broth and gravy, stirring until well mixed. Pour this liquid evenly over the pasta and vegetables in the crock pot.

4. Season the Mixture:
Sprinkle garlic powder, dried thyme, salt, and pepper over the top. Gently stir the contents to mix the spices throughout the dish.

5. Cook the Dish:
Cover the crock pot with a lid. Cook on low heat for approximately 4 hours (PT4H). Stir occasionally to ensure even cooking and prevent the pasta from sticking.

6. Add Cheese:
In the last 30 minutes of cooking, sprinkle shredded cheese on top of the mixture. Cover the crock pot again and continue cooking until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

7. Serve:
Once cooked thoroughly, stir again to incorporate the melted cheese, then serve hot.
