Savory Dumplings with Spicy Peanut Sauce
Ingredients
- 20 frozen dumplings
- 8 cups hot water
- 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
- 2 tablespoons sesame oil
- 2 tablespoons chili crisp
- 1/4 cup fresh cilantro leaves, chopped
- 2 tablespoons toasted sesame seeds
Instructions
1. Boil the Dumplings:
Fill a large pot with 8 cups of hot water. Place it on the stove over high heat and bring it to a boil. Carefully add the 20 frozen dumplings, stirring gently to prevent them from sticking. Allow them to cook for about 10 minutes or until they float to the surface and are fully heated through. Remove with a slotted spoon and set aside.
2. Prepare the Peanut Sauce:
In a medium saucepan, combine 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter, 2 tablespoons sesame oil, and 2 tablespoons chili crisp. Place over low heat and stir continuously until the ingredients are fully combined and the sauce is smooth. This should take about 3 minutes.
3. Combine and Serve:
Arrange the boiled dumplings on a serving platter. Drizzle the warm peanut sauce generously over the dumplings. Garnish with 1/4 cup of chopped fresh cilantro leaves and 2 tablespoons of toasted sesame seeds. Serve immediately for the best flavor and texture.
