Sesame Soy Stir-Fried Vegetables Delight
Ingredients
Main Ingredients:
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 cup broccoli florets
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced into thin strips
- 1 cup sugar snap peas
- 1 cup sliced carrots
- 1/2 cup sliced mushrooms
Sauce:
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 teaspoon honey
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
Garnishes:
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
- 2 green onions, chopped
Instructions
1. Prepare the Sauce:
In a small bowl, combine 3 tablespoons soy sauce, 1 tablespoon sesame oil, 1 tablespoon rice vinegar, 1 teaspoon honey, 2 cloves of minced garlic, and 1 teaspoon of grated ginger. Mix well and set aside.
2. Heat the Oil:
Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Allow the oil to shimmer to ensure it’s hot enough for frying.
3. Stir-Fry the Vegetables:
Add the broccoli florets, red bell pepper strips, sugar snap peas, sliced carrots, and sliced mushrooms to the hot skillet. Stir-fry the vegetables for 5-7 minutes, or until they are crisp-tender.
4. Add the Sauce:
Pour the prepared sauce over the stir-fried vegetables. Toss the vegetables in the sauce to ensure they are evenly coated. Stir-fry for an additional 2-3 minutes, allowing the sauce to slightly caramelize and the flavors to meld.
5. Garnish and Serve:
Transfer the stir-fried vegetables to a serving platter. Sprinkle with 1 tablespoon of sesame seeds and top with chopped green onions for a fresh finish.
