Ingredients
- 2 cups coconut milk

Instructions
1. Prepare the Mixture

2. Thicken the Pudding Base
- Gradually sift in the 1/4 cup of cornstarch into the saucepan, continuously whisking to prevent lumps from forming. Ensure a smooth consistency.
3. Cook the Pudding
- Place the saucepan over medium heat. Stir the mixture constantly with a wooden spoon to avoid sticking and ensure even heating. The mixture will begin to thicken after approximately 5 minutes.
4. Incorporate the Coconut Flakes
- Once the pudding base is smooth and has thickened to a pudding-like consistency, fold in the 1/2 cup of shredded coconut until evenly distributed.
5. Final Cooking and Setting
- Reduce the heat to low and continue to stir for an additional 3–5 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld and the pudding to become silky.
6. Chill the Pudding
- Remove the saucepan from heat. Pour the pudding into individual serving bowls or a large serving dish. Cover with plastic wrap, pressing it gently against the surface to prevent a film from forming.
7. Cool and Serve
