Sizzling Sesame Turkey and Chicken Stir Fry Bowl
Ingredients
- 1/2 pound ground chicken
- 1/2 pound ground turkey
- 1 tablespoon toasted sesame oil
- 2 cups shredded cabbage
- 1 cup shredded carrots
- 1 medium red bell pepper, thinly sliced
- 4 green onions, chopped

- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1/4 cup chopped cashews
- 1/4 cup chopped peanuts
- 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper
- 2 cups cooked rice OR 8 ounces cooked noodles OR 2 cups cooked quinoa
- Sriracha, to taste
- Spicy mayo, for drizzling
Instructions
1. Prepare Ingredients: Begin by gathering all ingredients and preparing them as specified. Have them ready to easily add to the pan during cooking.
2. Cook Meat: In a large skillet or wok, heat the toasted sesame oil over medium-high heat. Add the ground chicken and turkey, breaking up any clumps with a wooden spoon. Cook for about 5-7 minutes, or until no longer pink.
3. Add Vegetables: Stir in the shredded cabbage, shredded carrots, and sliced red bell pepper. Sauté for about 4-5 minutes, or until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
4. Create Sauce: While the vegetables are cooking, in a small bowl, whisk together the oyster sauce, soy sauce, and honey. Pour this mixture over the meat and vegetables in the skillet.
