Spicy Nut Butter Ramen Delight
Ingredients
- 1 pack instant ramen noodles
- 1 tablespoon peanut butter
- 1 tablespoon almond butter
- 1 tablespoon sunflower seed butter
- 1 teaspoon tahini
- 1 tablespoon chili crisp
- 1 egg
- 2 green onions, finely sliced
- 1 teaspoon sesame seeds
Instructions
1. Boil the Noodles:
Begin by boiling 2 cups of water in a medium saucepan. Add the instant ramen noodles and cook for about 3 minutes until they are tender. Do not add the seasoning packet; drain the noodles and set aside.
2. Prepare the Nut Butter Sauce:
In a small mixing bowl, combine peanut butter, almond butter, sunflower seed butter, and tahini. Stir in the chili crisp until the mixture is smooth and creamy. If needed, add a tablespoon of hot water to thin the sauce a bit for easier mixing.
3. Cook the Egg:
In the same saucepan that was used for the noodles, add a bit of water if there isn’t enough left for poaching. Bring to a gentle simmer. Crack the egg into the simmering water and poach for 3-4 minutes, until the white is set but the yolk remains runny.
4. Combine:
Return the drained noodles to the saucepan on low heat. Pour the nut butter sauce over the noodles and toss gently to coat evenly.
5. Plate and Garnish:
Transfer the noodles to a serving bowl. Carefully place the poached egg on top of the noodles. Garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds.
