Spicy Sautéed Chicken with Bell Peppers and Creamy Cilantro Sauce



Ingredients



- 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 green bell pepper, sliced
- 1 red or orange bell pepper, sliced
- 1 white onion, sliced
- 8 oz baby Bella mushrooms, sliced
- 1/2 cup Mexican crema
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped

Instructions



1. Prepare the Chicken:

- Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels.
- Season both sides with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, smoked paprika, and chili powder.

2. Cook the Chicken:

- Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the chicken breasts to the hot skillet.
- Cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked and golden brown.

3. Sauté the Vegetables:
