Stove-Top Burrata and Herb Toasts with Everything Bagel Seasoning
Ingredients
- 4 slices of bread
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 large tomato, thinly sliced
- 2 teaspoons everything bagel seasoning
- 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley leaves
- 1/2 cup mixed sprouts
- 1 cup fresh spinach leaves
- 1/4 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup cottage cheese
- 1/4 cup farmer's cheese
- 4 ounces burrata, torn into pieces
Instructions
1. Prepare the Cheese Spread:
In a medium bowl, mix together the cream cheese, cottage cheese, and farmer's cheese until smooth and well combined. Set aside.
2. Toast the Bread:
Heat a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat. Lightly spread mayonnaise on each side of the bread slices. Once the skillet is hot, toast the bread in batches until golden brown and crispy, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove and set aside on a cutting board.
3. Assemble the Toasts:
Spread a generous layer of the cheese mixture onto each slice of toasted bread.
4. Layer with Fresh Ingredients:
Start by placing a handful of spinach leaves on top of the cheese spread, followed by tomato slices. Next, sprinkle everything bagel seasoning evenly over the tomatoes.
5. Add Burrata and Garnish:
Gently place pieces of burrata on top of each toast. Garnish with fresh basil, parsley, and a handful of mixed sprouts.
6. Final Touches:
If desired, give the assembled toasts a quick back-and-forth grind of black pepper for a touch of heat. Serve immediately while the toast is still crisp.
