Stove-Top Creamy Dill Pickle Deviled Eggs

Ingredients

- 6 large egg yolks
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 2 tbsp mayonnaise
- 2 tbsp chopped dill pickles
- 1 tbsp fresh dill sprigs, finely chopped (plus extra for garnish)
- Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

1. Prepare the Egg Yolks:
Carefully separate the egg yolks from the whites. Use a spoon to gently place the yolks in a small mixing bowl.

2. Mix the Filling:
Add the softened cream cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise, chopped dill pickles, and chopped dill sprigs to the bowl with the egg yolks. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

3. Blend the Mixture:
Use a fork or a hand mixer to thoroughly blend the ingredients until a smooth and creamy consistency is achieved. Ensure there are no lumps remaining from the egg yolks or cream cheese.

4. Cook on the Stove:
Transfer the mixture to a small saucepan over medium heat. Stir continuously for about 5 minutes until the mixture is heated through and slightly thickened.

5. Cool and Serve:
Remove the saucepan from heat and allow the mixture to cool slightly for about 5 minutes. Spoon or pipe the creamy mixture into serving dishes or a hollowed-out egg white for a fun edible presentation.

6. Garnish:
Sprinkle additional fresh dill sprigs on top for garnish. Serve immediately for best taste and texture.
