Tangy Lemon Delight Roasted Snack
Ingredients
- 2 cups of mixed nuts (such as almonds, cashews, and walnuts)
- 1 tablespoon crystallized lemon powder
- 1 teaspoon citric acid
- 1 teaspoon lemon oil
- 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional, for a bit of heat)
Instructions
1. Preheat the Oven:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
2. Prepare the Nuts:
In a large mixing bowl, combine the mixed nuts. Drizzle olive oil over the nuts and toss well to coat evenly.
3. Mix the Seasonings:
In a small bowl, combine the crystallized lemon powder, citric acid, lemon oil, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper (if using). Stir to mix thoroughly.
4. Coat the Nuts:
Pour the seasoning mixture over the oiled nuts. Toss until all nuts are evenly coated with the seasoning.
5. Add Lemon Juice:
Drizzle the fresh lemon juice over the seasoned nuts and mix until thoroughly combined.
6. Roast the Nuts:
Spread the nuts in an even layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
7. Bake:

8. Cool and Serve:
Remove the nuts from the oven and allow them to cool completely on the baking sheet. Once cooled, serve or store in an airtight container.
