Tropical Delight Fruit Salad



Ingredients



- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup pineapple chunks, drained
- 1 cup shredded coconut
- 1 cup mandarin oranges, drained
- 1 cup miniature marshmallows
- 1/2 cup maraschino cherries, halved
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts (such as walnuts or pecans)
- 2 bananas, sliced
- 1 cup seedless grapes, halved
- 2 kiwis, peeled and sliced
- 1 cup strawberries, hulled and halved
- 1 cup peaches, diced or sliced, canned or fresh

Instructions



1. Prepare the Fruits:
- Slice the bananas and kiwis.
- Hull and halve the strawberries.
- Cube or slice the peaches if using fresh ones.
- Halve the grapes and maraschino cherries.

2. Mix the Base:
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the sour cream with the shredded coconut and miniature marshmallows. Stir until fully integrated.

3. Incorporate the Fruits:
- Gently fold the pineapple chunks, mandarin oranges, banana slices, grapes, kiwi slices, strawberry halves, peach slices, and halved maraschino cherries into the sour cream mixture.
- Stir carefully to ensure all fruit is evenly coated without mashing any delicate ingredients.

4. Add Crunch and Sweetness:
- Sprinkle the chopped nuts over the mixed salad. Fold them in lightly.

5. Chill and Serve:
- Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least PT30M (30 minutes) to allow the flavors to meld.
- Serve chilled, garnishing with additional cherries or a sprinkle of coconut if desired.
