Ultimate Gourmet Pretzel Snack Platter
Ingredients
- 2 Brauhaus Frozen Giant Pretzels
- Pretzel salt (included with pretzels)
- 1/4 cup water
- 1/4 cup mustard
- 1/2 cup cheese dip
- 4 smoked sausages
- 1 cup sauerkraut
- 1 cup sliced apples
- 1/2 cup shredded cheese (cheddar recommended)
Instructions
1. Preheat the Oven:
- Preheat your oven to 400°F.
2. Prepare the Pretzels:
- Remove the frozen pretzels from packaging.
- Lightly moisten the pretzels with water using a pastry brush.
- Sprinkle the pretzel salt evenly over each pretzel, allowing the salt to adhere to the dampened surface.
3. Bake the Pretzels:
- Place pretzels directly on the oven rack or on a baking sheet.
- Bake for approximately 12 minutes, or until the pretzels are golden brown and heated through.
4. Prepare the Sausages:
- While the pretzels bake, place the smoked sausages in the oven on a separate baking sheet.
- Bake them for 10-12 minutes, turning halfway through, until they are thoroughly warmed and slightly browned.
5. Warm the Sauerkraut:
- In a small saucepan, gently warm the sauerkraut over medium heat, stirring occasionally, for about 5 minutes.
6. Combine and Serve:
- Remove the pretzels and sausages from the oven.
- Arrange pretzels on a large serving platter.
- Place sausages next to the pretzels.
- Add sauerkraut and sliced apples to the platter.
- Warm cheese dip in a microwave or on the stove until smooth, then pour into a small serving bowl.
- Serve mustard in a separate small bowl.
- Sprinkle shredded cheese over the sausages for an optional extra touch of flavor.
7. Serve and Enjoy:
- Present your gourmet pretzel platter as a delightful snack spread for sharing.
