White Chocolate Raspberry Sourdough Biscuit Torte



Ingredients



- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup white chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup jam (raspberry preferred)
- 1/2 cup dried apples, finely chopped
- 2 tbsp molasses
- 1/4 tsp cloves
- 1/2 cup nuts (assorted: pecans, walnuts), chopped
- 2 tbsp maple syrup
- 2 drops red food coloring
- 8 raspberries, fresh
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup peanut butter scotch chips
- 6 biscuits, crumbled
- 2 slices sourdough bread, cubed
- 1/2 cup apple butter

Instructions



1. Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) to ensure it is at the right temperature for baking.

2. Prepare the Sourdough Base
Lay the cubed sourdough bread on a baking sheet. Bake for 5 minutes to lightly toast. Remove and let cool.

3. Make the Cream Cheese Filling
In a mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth. Add in the raspberry jam and food coloring, and mix until fully combined.

4. Combine Dry Ingredients
In a separate bowl, mix the chopped dried apples, sugar, cloves, and crumbled biscuits.

5. Melting the White Chocolate
In a small saucepan over low heat, melt the white chocolate chips, stirring constantly until smooth. Allow to cool slightly before stirring into the cream cheese mixture.

6. Layer the Torte
In a greased baking dish, spread a layer of cubed sourdough bread. Drizzle with maple syrup. Then add a layer of the cream cheese mixture. Sprinkle with the nut mixture, followed by a layer of apple butter.

7. Add Final Touches
Top with scattered raspberries, peanut butter scotch chips, and nuts. Drizzle with molasses.

8. Bake
Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes or until the top is golden brown and bubbly.

9. Serve
Allow the torte to cool for at least 10 minutes before slicing. Serve warm or at room temperature as a decadent dessert.
