Wine-Infused Baked Chicken Medley
Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup Franzia Moscato
- 1 cup Barefoot Wine Moscato
- 1 cup Bota Box Sauvignon Blanc
- 1 cup Black Box Rosé
- 1 cup Franzia Chillable Red
- 1 cup Nighthawk by Bota Rich Red Wine Blend
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon dried rosemary
- 1 tablespoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 lemon, sliced
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 large onion, sliced
Instructions
1. Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
2. Prepare the Marinade
In a large mixing bowl, combine Franzia Moscato, Barefoot Wine Moscato, Bota Box Sauvignon Blanc, Black Box Rosé, Franzia Chillable Red, Nighthawk by Bota Rich Red Wine Blend, olive oil, dried rosemary, dried thyme, salt, and black pepper. Whisk together until well blended.
3. Marinate the Chicken
Place the chicken breasts into a large, resealable plastic bag. Pour the wine mixture into the bag, ensuring the chicken is fully submerged. Seal the bag tightly and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours, or overnight for deeper flavor.
4. Prepare the Baking Dish
Remove the chicken from the marinade and set aside. In a large baking dish, layer the bottom with sliced onion and minced garlic. Place the marinated chicken breasts on top of the onions and garlic.
5. Add Remaining Ingredients
Pour the remaining marinade over the chicken. Add the chicken broth and distribute the lemon slices evenly over the dish.
6. Bake the Chicken
Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and place it in the preheated oven. Bake for 45 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the chicken is fully cooked and golden brown.
7. Serve
Remove the baking dish from the oven and let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before serving. Serve the wine-infused chicken with the baked onions and lemons as a garnish.
