Zesty Avocado Salsa
Ingredients
- 3 ripe avocados
- 1 lime
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
- 1 medium tomato, diced
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
- 1 jalapeño, seeded and finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
Instructions
1. Prepare the Avocados
- Slice the avocados in half and remove the pits.
- Carefully spoon out the avocado flesh into a mixing bowl.
2. Add Lime and Salt
- Cut the lime in half and squeeze all the juice onto the avocados.
- Sprinkle the salt over the avocados.
3. Mash the Avocados
- Using a fork, gently mash the avocados until they reach your desired consistency. You can leave some chunks if you prefer a chunkier salsa.
4. Incorporate Other Ingredients
- Add the finely chopped onion, diced tomato, chopped cilantro, finely chopped jalapeño, and minced garlic to the avocado mixture.
